Mangaluru: Keeping in mind the welfare of the labourers, this year the INTUC, Dakshina Kannada Amateur Kabaddi Association (R) and Panambur Mogaveera Mahasabha Chitrapura Kulai will jointly hold Beach Fest at Mogaveera Mahasabha Chitrapura Ground on Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1, said INTUC State President Rakesh Malli.
He was addressing mediapersons here on Thrursday April 28 in the City here. This sports event has intention to spread awareness among the people about the land mafia, who have been unabatedly acquiring the fertile land for setting up industries. Hence, INTUC, DK District Amateur Kabbaddi Association and Mogaveera Mahasabha Chitrapura will fight against injustice and strive to provide employment to youths and localites.
As labour class is the backbone of the nation, the INTUC has been working as the voice of these class. The organisation has been conducting sports activities to encourage them. However, due to pandemic since two years there were no activities conducted.
