Bengaluru: Politicians and Defense personnel paid their last respect to martyred army officer Major Akshay Girish Kumar at Yelahanka Airbase in Bengaluru on Thursday after his body was brought to the city from Kashmir.
He was one among the two officers killed in the Nagrota terrorist attack.
State law minister T.B. Jayachandra, BBMP Mayor G Padmavathi, defence personnel along with friends and family paid rich tributes on the occasion.
