Bengaluru: As part of the Amrit Mahotsav of India’s independence, Department of Kannada and Culture organised ‘Amrutha Bharathige Kannadadhaarati’ campaign. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai inaugurated the campaign in Bengaluru on Saturday May 28. On this occasion MP P. C. Mohan, Congress MLA Dinesh Gundurao, MP A. Narayanswamy, Kannada and Culture Department Secretary Dr. Manjula, Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner Manjunath and others were present.
Meanwhile in Mangaluru BJP State President and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated the ‘Amrutha Bharathige Kannadadarati’ campaign at Town Hall here in the City. Mangaluru South MLA B. Vedavyas Kamath, Mangaluru Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K. V., MCC Mayor Premananda Shetty, Padma Shri awardee Harekala Hajabba and others were present.
