Mysuru: As the seers from across the State are rallying behind Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa for continuation as CM and showing their strength, several others are condemning this move of the seers.
Beckward Classes Awareness Forum here on Sunday July 25 held a protest condemning the convention held by the seers in support of CM Yediyurappa. The protestors raised the slogan, Kaavi Kalachi, Khadi Dharisi, which means sacrifice saffron Rob and wear Khadi. The unique protest was held in front of the court here in the city.
The protestors under the leadership of Forum State President Shivaramu expressed their anger over the seers’ move to rally behind the CM. They stated that the monasteries are the asset of every devotee and hence urged the seers to save the dignity of the monasteries by not indulging in such partisan attitude towards the politicians.
