Mysuru: “When I had health issues and was getting treated at Coimbatore, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah didn’t even enquire about my health but when District In-charge Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa was hospitalised at Apollo Hospital in Mysuru, Siddaramaiah rushed to see him in the hospital”, said senior Congress leader and former minister and MP A H Vishwanath. After senior Congress leader Srinivas Prasad and S M Krishna, Vishwanath will be the third senior Congress leader who is all set to resign from primary membership of Congress party.
“The state leaders who are currently running the Congress party are trying to sideline me. Some sincere workers including senior Congress leaders in the party are feeling helpless in the current scenario. Whether I am here or not, Congress is Congress”, added Vishwanath.

It is learnt that senior JD (S) leaders have also spoken to Vishwanath and waiting for his formal announcement.
