RAshok M 29112020Mysuru: Revenue Minister R Ashok has stopped the ‘Jana Spandana’ programme organised by Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhu, for not inviting the local MLAs for the programme.

The DC started the grievances meet in every taluk and had conducted a couple of them already. However, what irked the local MLAs is that the DC had not extended an invitation to them for the meet.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Ashok said that he has already spoken to the DC and informed her that the local MLAs must be invited for the same.

“The Jana Spandana programmes has been cancelled, but the DC is planning ‘Jilladhikarigala Nade Gramada Kade’ event for which all MLAs will be invited. People can raise their grievances during this programme,” the Minister said.

Speaking about the cabinet expansion, Ashok said that it is due to the contributions of people like MTB Nagaraj, Shankar and Muniratna that the BJP could come to power at the state. “They will be rewarded as we have not forgotten what they have done,” he said adding that the state BJP is waiting for the directions from the high command.

Training guns at KPCC Chief DK Shivakumar, who has been claiming that CM’s political secretary Santhosh attempted suicide due to political pressure, Ashok said that DK Shi is only shooting in the dark.

“The question of existence and identity has started haunting DKShi after the by-polls debacle. The details of Santhosh case will be out once Santhosh recovers,” he said.
