Mysuru: Mysuru continues to shine bright at the national-level in the clean city competition.
In the 2019 edition of the competition, the city retained its five star status for cleanliness.
“Mysuru is declared as 5 star garbage free city again. Only six cities in the country have been declared as five star garbage free cities,” informed Mysuru City Corporation commissioner Gurudatta Hegde.
Other cities which won this recognition are Ambikapur, Rajkot, Surat, Indore and Navi Mumbai.
This national-level competition was held in January 2020 across the country.
District in-charge minister ST Somashekhar congratulated the city residents for the recognition.
