Mysuru: While the countdown has begun for Mysore Fashion Week Season 2, there is considerable excitement with the news that Soha Ali Khan will also be walking the ramp for Jayanthi Ballal.
The second season will be held on September 4, 5 and 6 at the Country Inns and Site by Carlson. The first season of Mysore Fashion Week pioneered by Mysuru fashion Pioneer Jayanthi Ballal was huge hit and got good response last year which added ‘fashion city’ as a title to the Culture and Heritage city of Mysuru.
Speaking to News Karnataka, Jayanthi Ballal said, “The designers and Models for Mysore Fashion Week season 2 have been finalised. There will be very famous models walking the ramp for the designers for three days”.
“A platform for new designers to showcase their designs has beenprovided through the event. Almaz Syed who is a Mysorean is showcasing her collection this season. We have tried and still working to give a better season than the first, in all aspects. This will take fashion in Mysuru to the next level”, she added.
She also mentioned about trying to contact famous celebrities from Sandalwood and Bollywood for this season. “We are expecting positive result and we are waiting for final confirmation”, she said in this regard.
