Mysuru: Primary and secondary education minister Tanveer Sait stressed on the need to promote Indian culture instead of following western culture blindly.
Inaugurating a programme here on Monday, Sait said, “Every day is a celebration in Indian tradition and the festivals help us to share our happiness. We need to be united irrespective of belonging to different castes and communities to create a good society. The good people have stopped speaking, raising issues and it has turned out to be a chance for those evil minded to disrupt peace in the society. Constitution gives us a right to follow any religion but the very existence of caste system, has been creating problems around us today. We need to have patience and live in harmony,” he said.
