The anticipation for ‘Thandel’ is reaching new heights as the film, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is all set for its release on February 7, 2025. The pre-release event held in Hyderabad saw an electrifying moment when the two stars danced to their hit song, “Namo Namah Shivaya,” fulfilling fans’ wishes. The performance, captured in a viral video, showcased the undeniable chemistry between the leads. Sai Pallavi, leading the dance with her signature confidence, was followed by Naga Chaitanya, whose shy charm only added to the crowd’s excitement.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, ‘Thandel’ draws inspiration from real-life events involving fishermen from Srikakulam who accidentally drift into Pakistani waters. The movie’s themes of love, courage, and patriotism are brought to life with Naga Chaitanya playing the role of a fisherman in a challenging situation, while Sai Pallavi stars as his love interest. The music, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, adds an extra layer of emotion to the story.
In a recent interview, Naga Chaitanya expressed his admiration for Sai Pallavi, describing their collaboration as a “remarkable experience.” He shared, “Working with Pallavi is always a pleasure. She brings so much energy to the screen, which really complements my performance.”
