Mangaluru: The ninth episode of Amazing People second season was premiered on Sunday October 2 at 10.30 am IST.
The guest of the episode was Dr. Vineeth Kumar, Principal, Centre for Advanced Learning. The host of Amazing People is Spearhead Media Group Mentor and Advisor CA Valerian Dalmaida.
The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
Dr. Vineeth Kumar shed light on his PhD studies and stressed, “Habitat loss will result in the degradation of ecosystem”.
I was influenced by my peer groups, friends and lecturer were into bird watching and specie identification. This later became my hobby, he said. Dr. Vineeth Kumar also shared his experience of discovering a new specie of frog belonging to Mangalore.
He also shed light on his journey towards CFAL (Centre for Advanced Learning), the system of education and said, “We try to give our students the knowledge in a maximum possible way and we are a practice oriented campus” along with sharing the educational programmes at CFAL.
To the young viewers Dr. Vineeth Kumar advised, “Follow your passion. If you are able to differentiate and balance between the passion and profession it is great”.
