Cow essential for our soil to remain fertile: Farmer Semita

Mangaluru: The fifth episode of season two of Amazing Stories of Village TV was premiered on Saturday August 27 at 10.30 am IST.

The guest of the fifth episode was Niranjan Semita, Modern Agriculturalist. The host of Amazing Stories is Spearhead Media Group Mentor and Advisor CA Valerian Dalmaida.

The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

Niranjan Semita shed light on various forms of agriculture and poultry farming undertaken by him. He also stressed, “cow is essential for our soil to remain fertile and the best fertiliser availed for farming comes from cow.”

Papaya, Tomato, and Banana are the other fruits which he grows.

Speaking on the various types of soil and the yields Niranjan Semita said soil check as essential. He also noted that, Government shares information on agricultural farming which is worth and significant.

“From past 25 years we are using gobar gas. The fertiliser out of gobar gas is the best,” he said.

As an advise to the audience, he requested the viewers to take up agriculture and also promised to share information on the same.

He appreciated the initiative of NewsKarnataka. Valerian Dalmaida expressing gratitude signed off.
