Mangaluru: The seventh episode Part – I of season two of Amazing Stories of Village TV was premiered on Saturday October 1 at 10.30 am IST. The episode focused on “Empowerment of rural women and community services”.
The guest of the seventh episode was Vinayaka Rao, Sevabharathi President and Sevadhama Founder as well as Rayan Fernandes, Director, Sevadhama. Guests are the victims of Spinal cord Injury and are working for the progress of many other victims.
The host of Amazing Stories is Spearhead Media Group Mentor and Advisor CA Valerian Dalmaida.
The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s YouTube channel.
Guest Vinayaka Rao, shed light on Spinal cord Injury and highlighted that it as one of the Injury without cure till date. Sharing his Injury experience he stated, “I went through mental trauma during the phase of my Injury. It was a letter which read, “Understand the problems of people” changed my life and lead to the establishment of Seva Bharati,” he shared.
“Being a twenty two year old man and a sole bread earner of the family I came across the spinal cord Injury. From my food to latrine I was dependent on my family”, Rayan Fernandes shared his post accident state. Rayan also shared the work of rehabilition programme by Sevadhama in order to train the victims both physically and mentally.
Valerian Dalmaida also shared the cause of Village TV Initiative on the path of community development and appreciated the works of two Inspiring victims Vinayaka Rao and Rayan Fernandes.
