Dubai: The second episode of season two of Amazing Stories of Village TV was premiered on Saturday July 30 at 10.30 am IST.
The guest of the second episode was Jayanth Kumar, Proprietor, JK & Associates, Ground Water Management & Rainwater Harvesting Consultant. The host of Amazing Stories is Spearhead Media Group Mentor and Advisor CA Valerian Dalmaida.
The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
In a continued segment Jayanth Kumar said, Creating awareness about the dos and dont’s of ground water is seen as a part of charity from our organisation. Indeed earning lakhs of rupees in a month with no job satisfaction to that of being able to hear a soothening words from water drought people on the success of our initiative is very much pleasing.”
He also expressed the pessimistic view on being able to channelise flash floods in the cities through rainwater harvesting. Jayanth Kumar stressed, “It is good to check the ground water level and water management procedures even before laying foundation stone to the buildings.”
“The villagers in our country are unaware of the technological advancements in water management process including the usage of right water pump based on available water level. The unscientific process involved are also being the cause for water scarcity in villagers affecting their crops,” he said.
