‘If my students are healthy and happy, I am happy too’

Dubai: The 43rd episode of NewsKarnataka.com’s Namaste Teacher was held on Friday September 30 at 6.30 pm IST.

The guest teacher for the evening is Pushpalatha, Yoga Teacher. The special guests of the evening are her students, Swathi. S, Siddaraju Karigowda, Managing Director, Sirisampada Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Sunain, home maker, Varuni, Electrical Engineer, and Kusum Shashidhar, homemaker.

The event host was Kiran Nirkan.

Through teacher-student interaction, the series strives to highlight teachers and their impact on students. The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s YouTube Channel.

Teacher Pushpalatha reminiscing her career stated, I have seen several changes in my life due to Yoga. The skin allergy I got in my childhood ignited me to continue in the field of yoga, she shared.

Siddaraju Karigowda stated teacher Pushpalatha to be his Lord of health. And assured, I am her son and will be there for her whenever she is in need.

Swathi shared, “I met ma’am when I went through a knee pain and decided to adopt natural medication. Ma’am is very caring and particularly humane.

Kusum Shashidhar acknowledged and appreciated the work and commitment of Pushpalatha madam. And shared, She is not just a yoga teacher but is also our personal counsellor and a guide.

Sunain said, Like a child approaching mother to every little problem it has, I go to Pushpalatha ma’am.

Varuni shared, Ma’am has her hand in solving each one’s problem and also evolve us in class in a way we get immersed in it unknowingly.

Teacher Pushpalatha hearing to her students expressed, If my students are healthy and happy, I will be happy too. Stating the role of teachers, “Being a teacher is a gift from God and not every one gets an opportunity to solve people’s problems but a teacher does, she opined.

Both teacher and students appreciated the initiative of NewsKarnataka. Kiran Nirkan expressing gratitude signed off.
