Parents do assume that their child with special ability is very choosey in matters of diet and end up giving what they like to eat. It becomes also necessary to provide them food with nutrition for a balanced mental health,” doctor said.
Dr. Chhaya K. stating to avoid the freezed and junk food for special kids advised, “avoiding bread, cake etc. which include refined flour will help in better health and also reduces gastrointestinal diseases in special children.”
Doctor sharing the study on breast feeding emphasised the mothers to breast feed as it improves the intelligence quotient in special needs children.
Appreciating the parents and calling it a blessing to take care of a special child, Dr. Chhaya K. advised the parents to expose kids to rain, soil and outer environment as it improves the immunity within the kids.
