
Odisha Man Nabbed in Kodagu for Attempting to Sell Ganja
Ponnampet: Police have arrested a man from Odisha for allegedly attempting to sell ganja in Kanur village, Kodagu district. Authorities confirmed the seizure of 3 kg of the banned substance during the operation.
The suspect, who had recently returned from his hometown on May 3, was apprehended at the Kanur bus stand with the contraband in his possession. Initial investigations suggest that he may be linked to a long-running network involved in distributing ganja in the region for nearly nine years.
The arrest was carried out under the supervision of Kodagu Superintendent of Police Ramarajan and Additional SP Barike Dinesh Kumar. The raid was executed by Gonikoppa Circle Inspector Shivaraj Mudhol and his team, who had been tracking suspicious activities in the area.
The police are continuing their investigation to uncover other members of the suspected drug ring and their operations across the district.
