Durex-led Birds and Bees Talk programme released a theme song #LetsTalkAboutIt to mark its second year and to celebrate the Pride month. In a short period of time, the video has created a huge impact, and it is currently trending fifth on Twitter.
Adolescence is a period of development during which physical, mental, and emotional changes occur. Adults usually fail to address the concerns raised by youngsters.
The purpose of this is to encourage diversity, raise awareness, and provide life-saving knowledge to teenagers. It has developed an appealing, one-of-a-kind programme to bridge the information gap surrounding young people’s reproductive and sexual health and rights, as well as provide them with a comprehensive life skills curriculum centred on power, protection, and pleasure.
The team also emphasises in educating people on the importance of consent, equality, menstrual hygiene and help them grow into responsible adults.
Many people have expressed their support for this initiative, claiming that it will undoubtedly be informative in encouraging youth to accept who they are and make the best possible choice for themselves.
