39th ISC – APEX Open Badminton Tournament to begin from Dec 30

UAE: India Social and Cultural Centre Abu Dhabi (ISC), the largest socio – cultural organization for the Indian community in the Middle East and APEX Trading one of the major oil Field supplies and traders in the Middle East join hands to host the 39th ISC- APEX Open Badminton Tournament at the India Social & Cultural Centre which will be starting with the ‘Super Series’ from December 30,2015 and concluding with the ‘Elite Series’ consisting of International Players starting from January 18, until January 23, 2016.
The highlight of this privileged tournament is that ‘Super Series’ is open to all U.A.E residents and the ‘Elite Series’ is open for all players around the world without any restriction to their entries. The total Cash prize is estimated at AED 70,000. Entry closes on December 28, 2015.

APEX trading is the main sponsor of the event. The Co-Sponsors for this major event are UAE Exchange, Gray McKenzie & Partners.

In an official press meet Ramesh Panicker, the Hon. President of ISC announced the launching of the ISC-APEX open Badminton Tournament 2015. It was also informed that the tournament has already received the interest of participation by some of the world ranked players. National players from Europe, Indonesia, Bahrain, Qatar, Malaysia, India, Srilanka and Pakistan are expected to participate and show their skills and professionalism.

Section Secretary P. Sathya Babu   said that the main objective of this Tournament, to inspire the spirit of the game irrespective of Nationalities and to bring them together as relations at one and only India Social and Cultural Centre. Hon. Sports Secretary George Varghese remarked that the overall participation is expected to reveal a show worthy of excellent skills combined with high endurance levels.

Supporting sponsors are National Drilling Co, Uruguay, TUV Nord, Al Sajid, Panatech, Road Star Rent Car , Aesthetic Dental Centre, Thomas Dental Centre, Creative Graphics, Country Club, Gromaxx Hotel Management and Spark Security.

The meeting was chaired by President Ramesh Panicker, Gen. Secretary M.A. Salam, Treasurer T.N.Krishnan, Sports Secretary George Varghese, Asst.
