Abu Dhabi: Miss Ansu George, a second year computer engineering student of NIT Surathkal, has won the prestigious ISC NMC Health Care UAE Exchange May Queen 2014 fashion contest which was held on 29th May 2014 at ISC Abu Dhabi Main Auditorium.
Miss Sarah George won First Runner up and Miss Varsha Gopalakrishnan secured the Second Runner up positions in a tight contest. The winners were awarded cash prizes of AED 5000, 3000 and 2000 respectively along with other gifts.
Fourteen girls between the age group of 18 – 35 contested in the in the fashion show. Miss Ansu and Miss Sarah have also won the Best Smile and Best Costume Awards respectively. They have won additional cash prizes of AED 1000 each for these awards.
Earlier the event began with the opening address by the Hon. Enetrtainment Secretary of ISC Mr. Mathew Jose Mathew. Hon. General Secretary Mr. Vinod Rajagopal welcomed the gathering and Hon. President Mr. D. Natarajan delivered the Presidential Address.
RJ Lokesh of City FM 1016 anchored the event.
Asst Entertainment Secretary Mr. Jojo Ambooken proposed the vote of thanks.
The elite panel of Judges led by famous psychologist and cene actress Parvathy including prominent businessman Mr. S G Vaseem, Famous fashion photographer Mr. Manish, Event and PR consultant Ms Kelly and Area manager of Jet Airways Mr. Biju George, Judges and sponsors were honoured with mementos.
Professional dance teams added more color to the event.
