Mumbai: It’s indeed a glorious occasion to celebrate the birth anniversary of great visionary, social reformer Narayan Guru in the metro, because the Billawa community with deep routed worship migrated to metro in search of better prospects and formed different Associations with focus on the ideals of Narayan Guru, said Karkal MLA Sunil Kumar.
MLA Sunil Kumar was the chief guest speaking during the one-hundred-fifty-nineth birth anniversary celebrations, organized by metro based Billawa Jagriti Balaga at Kanzhi Kestiwady auditorium, near VT here on Sunday August 25.
MLA Sunil Kumar said that if everyone follows Narayan Guru’s ideals of universal brotherhood, the nation would prosper in every sphere. The coastal residents settled in metro contributed to the progress of undivided Dakshina Kannada district, said MLA Sunil Kumar. He also urged the Karnataka state authorities incorporate a chapter on Narayan Guru in the text books and also celebrates the birth anniversary of Narayan Guru in governmental level, urged MLA Sunil Kumar.
