Muscat: After the successful completion of 11th Annual General Meeting of the Muscat Chapter of The Chartered Accountants of India, held at Muscat Hall, College of Banking and Financial Studies, Bowsher, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, Managing committee in their first meeting elected the office bearers for the year 2019-2020 on Thursday, May 16, CA N Ramananda Prabhu has been elected as Vice-Chairman of Muscat Chapter, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, for the year 2019-2020.
CA N Ramananda Prabhu, son of Late N Pundalika Prabhu, hails from farmer’s family, Prabhu Keri, Naikanakatte. He completed his primary education at Government Higher Primary School Naikanakatte, and secondary education at school at government college, Khambadakone, Pre-University at Government Pre-University College, Uppunda and B Com at Government First Grade College Byndoor in the year 1990.
Professor Meli, Principal of Government First Grade College, Byndoor, congratulated CA Prabhu, and was happy to hear him attain this post.
He said, “We need leaders like you to bring together all Indian chartered accountants community and work for the betterment of the Muscat Chapter of ICAI.”
Later he wished CA Prabhu and his executive committee a successful tenure ahead.
Prof Meli said, “Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do. Being born in the family of farmer’s CA Prabhu, had put in lot of hardwork and continuous learning and life itself is struggle in all stages and he has achieved this mile stone, we are all very happy for him and he is real life role model for our college students who has set the highest benchmark to our district.”
He also expressed saying, “It is great honour for our college as our old student who has achieved this new milestone and you will be role model for our students and today marks the commencement of a new chapter in your life, but the journey never ends. Wherever this journey takes you, you will always be a member of the Government First Grade College community and a Byndoorian and you made all the Byndoorians and all Kannadigas proud with this achievement. We will need your support to thrive and continually enhance the value of our student community We appreciate all your support to our college and look forward to continued support in the days to come.”
“I am absolutely thrilled to see one of our students achieved this great mile stone in the international arena. CA Prabhu, would have worked incredibly hard and have been fully supported by his family who work tirelessly to raise and reach his child hood aspirations to become a Chartered Accountant”, he added.
He said, “Achieving excellence and valuing individuals, our college will be celebrating CA Prabhu’s remarkable achievement in be-fitting manner in the coming days. Whilst it is right that we celebrate this magnificent achievement, I should also stress that we value students’ progression to a wide range of destinations and it will clearly demonstrate and sends motivation and inspiration to all our students. The college makes it a priority to raise all students’ aspirations, opening the door to “Think Big, work hard, success is definite and become big and achieve big and pledge their support to their mother institute once they have settle down in their professional and personal life.”
