Dubai : U.A.E: Devadiga Sangha Dubai announces its 21st anniversary celebrations to be held on Friday 7th June 2013 at Deira Sheraton, Dubai.
This event will commence from 10am onwards. Program begins with an auspicious note of lighting the lamp followed by the stage programs. This event to be graced by Dr. Bailure Sheena Sherigara, former Vice-Chancellor of Kuvempu University who is also an aluminous of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College Udupi. The academic Profile of Dr.B.S.Sherigara does not give indication of the extraordinary way in which he has risen to such heights from a humble background, at a time when social conscience was found to be lacking in scientists and administrators, he is an individual totally committed towards the betterment of society. He will be accompanied by his wife Smt. Jayashree Udupi.
The guest list for the event also includes prominent figures from Mumbai & Mangalore Sanghas.
This event to showcase lots of cultural programs, which is to be performed by the members of the community .A Comedy skit Yaksha Mitraru also to be staged and lot of attractive prizes, is to be won through raffle draws.
