Kuwait: Hundreds of devotes gathered at St.Therese of Child Jesus Church Salmiya on Saturday April 15 to observe Easter Vigil on the eve of Easter Sunday along with visiting priest from Mangaluru-Fr. Lancy Noel Rebello OFM Cap.
The candle light ceremonies included the blessing of the Paschal candle, fire and holy water. In his homily, Fr. Lancy said Jesus is a living God and requested all gathered to be firm in their faith. Psalms and melodious hymns were sung by Konkani Choir led by Kiran Gonsalves.
Parish Priest Fr. Blany Pinto thanked visiting priest Fr. Lancy Rebello for his month long service in conducting retreats in Kuwait as well as helping the faithful in nourishing their faith. He also thanked all those who supported and helped throughout the lent season especially during the holy week.
