EIFF repatriates body of Indian girl from Abu Dhabi to home town

Abu Dhabi: Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF) with the help of UAE government authorities and Indian Consulate in Abu Dhabi managed to repatriate the body of an Indian expatriate girl who expired in a road accident in Madinat (Beda) Zayed, Abu Dhabi Western Region, UAE.

Taha Khan (9), daughter of Maqsood Ahmed Khan and Taiyaba Zubair from Basavangudi, Bengaluru, Karnataka State, deceased due to head injury in a road mishap that occurred on Friday night, October 14, 2016 while she was travelling with her family. EIFF arranged the documentation from Traffic Department and consulted the Indian Consultancy and cargo service to repatriate the body to India at the earliest. The body flew to India on October 15 at 11:30 pm and reached Bengaluru International Airport.

The relatives and friends of Maqsood Ahmed Khan had approached EIFF to repatriate his daughter’s body. With the timely help of the EIFF volunteers, the dead body was repatriated to India on the same day. The deceased is survived by her parents and a sister.

The relatives, family members and his sponsor have appreciated the Emirates India Fraternity Forum’s effort to dispatch the body to India. Embassy Community affairs officers extended all its support.
