Dubai/Belagavi: The shooting of “March 22”, a Kannada movie under the banner Acme International was launched on November 7 at a 800-year-old heritage residential building located on the outskirts of Belagavi. The movie directed by Kodlu Ramakrishna is produced by renowned NRI entrepreneaur,Managing director of Acme building materials Inc LLC, Dubai and singer Harish Sherigar.
Renowned businessman, Industrialist and BJP MP from Belagavi, Prabhakar Kore clapped for the “Muhurtam” of the film at the Wade (residence), once belonging to the royal family of Rattas at Nesargi vaillage near Chachadi in Belgaum and showered wishes on all gathered around. Ajantha Café owner R P Sherigar lit the lamp and wished success for the film. Sharmail Sherigar, wife of Harish Sherigar, director Kodlu Ramakishna, Munishwara production co-owners P Narendra and Rajashekar, heritage residence owner Nagaraj Desai were present on the occasion. They were accompanied by multilingual film actor Ravi Kale, lead actors Arya Vardhan, Kiran Raj, Meghashri, Deepthi Shetty and other artistes and crew members.
The Kannada film “March 22” has an interesting story line and is produced by Dubai-based businessman Harish Sherigar of Acme international.
Aryavardhan who has acted in “Khanana” and “Business” and Kiran Raj of “Love18” fame are in the lead roles. Meghashri, actress from Tirthahalli who has acted in many Bollywood films along with Deepthi Shetty are the heroines in the film.
Anantnag, Lakshmi, Ravishankar, Sharath Lohitashwa, Ravi Kale, Jai Jagadish, Vinaya Prasad, Padmaja Rao ad Sadhu Kokila form the rest of the cast. Young actors Srijan Rai, Yuva Kishore, Chidanand Pujari from Dubai and Prashobitha Prabhakar are donning different roles in the film.
Music is composed by S J Ravishekar and cinematography by M Mohan for the film whereas editing will be done by Basavaraj Urs. Subash Kadukol is the art director and Madan Harini the dance choreographer whereas stunts will be directed by Kung-fu Chandru for the film. K Jagadish Reddy, B Sharanya, Nagaraj Hasan are the assistant directors and Achyuth Rao is the production manager for the film.
The shooting will go on for 50 days according to the producer Harish Sherigar. Lead pair of yesteryears Ananthnag and Lakshmi is making a comeback through this film.
The entire film team is confident of churning out a unique film which may hit the screens on March 22, 2017!
