Muscat: Indian Pravasi Forum, Karnataka Chapter arranged ‘Paigham-e-Rasool (sa)’ program at Crystal Suit, Wadi Al Kabir on Friday, December 2.
Abdul Sattar Puttur initiated the stage programme with recitation of Holy Quran. Mohammad Anwar, Moodbidri President of IPF, Karnataka Chapter presided over the programme.
In his presidential speech, Anwar stressed on the importance of Muslim unity and integrity to empower the community in all aspects of life. Being united is one of the characters of our beloved Prophet (SA) and which is the need of the hour. We Muslims should understand cunningness, politics and hatred of our opponents and enemies.
Chief Guest Raashid Hussain Hyderabad highlighted the importance of acquiring higher education and to get our families educated to compete in the present world in a right manner as Prophet (SA) did by giving importance to educate his companions and succeed to transform the uncivilized and hatred society to soft and cultured society. In this process, our beloved Prophet (SA) endured all difficulty and ignominy himself, but didn’t allowed his community to get humiliated and tortured by others and these qualities of leadership are looked at by our common people, he pointed out. Hence, he requested the gathering to apply the life style and quality of beloved Prophet (SA) to get honor and ultimate success here and hereafter.
Before the stage program, Asif Padubidre and Abid Nandavar conducted cultural program much to everyone’s delight. Parvez Katipalla and group performed ‘Duff’. Also naath, quiz, lucky draw were all held to engage the audience.
On the dais, Syed Moidin Sastan, Vice President of Social Forum, Karnataka Chapter; Monabba Abdul Rehman, President DKSC – Oman, Hussain Gangolli, General Secretary, Gangolli Jamat and Mohammed Hussain SKM General secretary Oman were present. They distributed attractive prizes for winners of various events.
Usman Mysore and Haneef Bantwal compered the programme and Noor Mohammed Padubidre welcomed the participants. The event lasted for 3 hours and at the end Zakariya Bappalige offered the vote of thanks.
