Karnataka Sangh Bahrain felicitate Native Litterateurs, Social Activists, Artistes

Manama:Karnataka Sangh Bahrain president Rajkumar and executive Committee members felicitated the renowned writer and poet Janaki Brahmavar, Tulu Sahitya Academy former president Umanat Kotian, Vastu expert Ashok Purohit, journalist and theater artiste Paramanand Salian, Tulu theater personalities Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Maim Ramdas, Vismaya Vinayak, Sasiraj Rao Kavoor, Guru Bayar, social activist Devidas Suvarna and others during a function held at the Karnataka Sangh auditorium, here by presenting them with mementoes.

The distinguished personalities Janaki Brahmavar, Umanat Kotian, Naveen Padil, Paramanand Salian, Ashok Purohit and others in their acknowledgement address lauded the efforts of Kannada Sangh Bahrain in promoting Kannada and its distinct culture in overseas and hoped their dream project of own building will realize shortly.

Janaki presented a set of her published books to Kannada Sangh Bahrain president Rajkumar on the occasion.

Mangalore-based Northern Sky Properties explained their upcoming residential apartment complex in Mangalore.

A large number of people were present on the occasion.

Karnataka Sangh Bahrain secretary Rajesh Shetty proposed vote of thanks.The entertainment organizer Lolakshi Rajaram compered the programme.
