Konkan Bells blood donation camp. a huge success

Dubai: The blood donation camp organised by Konkan Bells, an organization of Belthangady Origin turned out to be a grand success after 110 donated blood in the camp held in Latifa hospital,Dubai.

President of Konkani Bells, Remezius D’Souza speaking to the media said, there has been a shortage of blood donors in UAE during the holy month of Ramadan.  In order to avoid inconvenience to patients for want of blood, the Konkan Bells has embarked upon this noble initiative.

Hundreds of members of Konkan Bells led by its president Remigius contributed their blood at the occasion. Balakrishna Salian and Shodan Prasad who are veterans in organizing blood camps here co-ordinated in the blood camp.

The office bearers of Konkan Bells distributed fruits to the blood donors at the occasion.

This is the second time Kokan Bells is organizing blood donation camp. Transport  was  arranged from Sharjah as well as Dubai for the donors, to reach the hospital.

Kokna Bells President Remezius D’Souza thanked all, who  actively participated in this noble cause .Karnataka Sangha– Sharjah president Satish Poojary, Padmashali Sangh president Ravi encouraged more number of people to donate their blood.

The event was a huge success and all members took part in this noble cause with full zeal, and more than 110 voluenteres took part in this camp.
