Dubai: Sangati Creations’ maiden venture, mega Konkani film ‘Zanvoy No. 1’ written and directed by well-known Bollywood director Harry Fernandes Barkur is all set for release on Friday, January 18, January, 2019 in Dubai, then on January 25, 2019 in Abu Dhabi and on February 1, 2019 in Sharjah respectively. It has already released in Mangalore, Goa and Mumbai successfully during April 2018. Soon after the UAE release, ZANVOY No.1 will also be released in Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Israel. Plans are being made to release the film in London and the USA.
A differently made super combination package of thrill, action, comedy, romance and high voltage drama ‘Zanvoy No.1’ has created a new landmark in the Konkani film industry. It was released on 13 theatres simultaneously and already completed more than 250 shows
Zanvoy No. 1 has well-known actress from Bollywood Varsha Usgaonkar, who carries over the entire film with her charming and stunning acting skills in a new role. This is her maiden Konkani Movie and is very happy to be part of this prestigious project. This project is beautifully designed and presented by Mumbai’s well-knownTheatre and Social Activists Cyril Castelino, Leo Fernandes and Walter D’Souza of Sangati Creations, who have come out with this maiden venture in an attempt to take Konkani language to greater heights. The film also has English subtitles so that even non-speaking population can understand the film and appreciate it.
The star cast includes male lead Kevin D’Mello who has worked in various Goan movies with female lead, an international model Josita Anola Rodrigues who is ‘Miss South Asia Teen’ and finalist of ‘World Teen Super Model of South Asia’, supported by ‘Comedy King of Goa’ Prince Jacob, Stany Alvares, Rons London, Sujatha Andrade, Ranjitha Lewis, Lyshon Fernandes, Cyril Castelino and well-known star actor of Dubai, Deepak Paladka who has to his credit six movies in three different languages of Karnataka- Tulu, Konkani and Kannada.
Cameraman Shafeeque Shaik has captured the entire movie beautifully which has been crisply edited by Abhishek Mhaskar. Stunts in the film have been designed by Sunil Rodrigues. The film has music by renowed composer trio- Eric Ozario, Jerry Bondel and Gunwant Sen. Lyrics have been penned down by Bondel, Llyod Rego and Harry Fernandes. Entire Music arrangement is beautifully done by Patson Pereira. Choreographer Naveen Shetty of Aryan’s has brilliantly done his job while the whole production team was carefully handled by production controller Karel Prem D’Souza, William Padhrengi and Rajesh Kudla. Overseas Audio Release was held in Dubai on March 1, 2018 at Winny’s Restaurant Auditorium, Karama, Dubai. The event was attended by well-known and famous dignitaries of Dubai and well supported by the Konkani lovers. Bishop of Mangalore, Ministers of Goa attended the release events, watched and appreciated the movie.
‘Zanvoy No. 1’ created a new generation movie making in Konkani language as well as Coastalwood.
