Puttur, Jan 28: The Misbahul Islam Students Association (MISA) which has been involved in various social welfare activities in rural areas of Irde Bettampady Koringila areas of Puttur taluk since the past several years , will be celebrating its ninth anniversary on January 29. A huge Milad Fest 2014 will also be held to coincide with the occasion.
The celebrations which will commence at Koringila in Gousiyanagar at 7 pm on January 29 will be inaugurated by Al-Haj Ayyub Wahabi, Imam of Koringila Juma Masjid. Al Haj Asayyed Hashim-Alavi Tangal will offer the Duva.
The function will be presided over by Al Haj Ibrahim Haadi Tangal Atur. Abdul Hameed Faizi Begantadka, President of M.I.S.A. will deliver the welcome address. Renowned scholars and orators Bahu Haneefa Hudavi Kozhikode and Bahu KA Basheer Madani Al Kamil Kuloor will deliver the key note address.
Haji Mohammad Kunhi Koringila, President, K.J.M, KM Yusuf Haji Koringila, retired manager of Vijaya Bank, TA Abdul Rehman Totlamoole, businessman, Ismail Haji Empekal, Vice President, K.J.M, and several others will participate as chief guests. Several Ulamas and Umaras will also participate in the celebrations.
