Sharjah: Grand celebration of Monthi feast held at St. Michael Church Sharjah. It was held in association with St. Michael Mangalore Konkani community (SMMKC)

All the children and faithful gathered around the church Grotto to shower flowers in honor of baby Mary.(ballok mori)
The progarmme also witnessed a Goan special brass band which was played by Mr.Romeiro & Team.
Then a Eucharistic celebration was held at the St. Michael Church hall.Fr.Abraham from Mulki was main celebrant accompanied by Fr. Rodson & Fr.Ani Xavier.
More than 2000 faithful attended the feast Holy Mass on the occasion of feast mass.
In a special ceremony was held during the mass, where the Fr. emphasized on need of prayer. Refreshments were followed after the Mass. To grace the event, a prayer song was sung by “SMMKC KIDS “under the guidance of Anita Godwin Dsouza. The celebrations also saw fantastic dance performed by Goan Youngsters and a musical play and drama was held by the well known coastal group in Sharjah” Mogachi Larah”, which is led by Mr.Vincent Fernandes.
Mr. Lawrence welcomed the Parish Priest by offering him the unique Mangalorean traditional “PanPode Udak”.
Mr. Pradeep Barboza had written and directed a small skit, which was the special attraction of the day, which was followed by a Traditional Mangalorean dinner (nove jevan) and was arranged for everyone present for the programme.
Roshan D’silva, famous MC of Konkani community in UAE compeered the program.
