‘Muru Muttugalu’, Kannada drama to be staged in Qatar on Mar 17

Qatar: Vision Events, a newly formed event management company will be presenting “Muru Muttugalu”, a very popular comedy Kannada drama on March 17, from 4.30 pm onwards at MES School’s Girls Wing Auditorium. Many dignitaries from other GCC countries and Qatar will be gracing the occasion.

A team of like-minded people comprising Ramachandra Shetty, Deepak Shetty and couple of other friends came together with a vision to promote culture, arts, education, sports, corporate and private events here and hence formed “VISION EVENTS” – an event management company in Doha recently. Keeping in mind the core value of their vision and to cater to enthusiastic drama and theatre lovers of Kannada community in Qatar, they have decided to host 45 years old “Roopakala Team” from Karnataka, India in Qatar as a launch event. Entry passes released for the event are being received very well so far and they are very happy with overwhelming response, said organisers. They have also requested Kannada drama lovers residing in Qatar to grace the launch event in large numbers and get themselves entertained with a great comedy session.

“Muru Muttugalu” drama team comprising eight artistes will be arriving here on March 15.

Many well wishers have come forward to support this popular acclaimed ribtickling Kannada comedy drama which has to its credit more than 1200 successful shows globally. Young and enthusiastic Fayaz C K, Business Development Manager of AL ZAMAN EXCHANGE has come forward to support this event as the Event Sponsor.

About the Drama:

“Roopakala”, a 45 years old drama troupe from Karnataka is not only popular in state but across India as well. “Roopakala”, the Late Balakrishna Pai founded troupe has done more than 6,000 shows so far. It is the only drama troupe from Karnataka that has given performance in every district of Karnataka. Satish Pai directed “Muru Muttugalu” is one of the many successful drama ventures of “Roopakala” and has done 1200+ shows in India and abroad.
