Three teams fight for prize in 4th episode of Nine Days Christmas Carols

Dubai: The Fourth episode of Nine Days Christmas Carols, organized by Spearhead Media Pvt. Ltd. (Parent company of News Karnataka.com) on the occasion of Christmas season, was held on Monday, December 21.

The show was hosted live from Dubai and was compered by main programme host CA Valerian Dalmaida and co-host Rajesh Sequeira.

Three carol singing teams were featured during the show: Team Bethlehem Bliss from Mangaluru, Jingles Together for Someone from Dubai and Skylarks from Mangaluru.

The judges for the show were Rohan Correa, a musician and one of the founders of Konkani Prayer Group and Anitha Serrao, a music composer and singer.

During the show, both the judges watched the videos submitted by the teams and gave their verdict. Speaking about the first team, the judges concluded that it was a good performance but the sound was not very good. The second team, according to the judges, had good control over the song and performed really well. The third team was praised for their presentation and background and the judges were also pleased about the performance, which according to the judges was perfectly fine.

Towards the end, the host thanked the judges and the teams for their participation and signed off.

Nine Days Christmas Carols began airing live on Youtube on December 18 and will continue till December 24. The winner of the competition will be awarded a cash prize of INR 9,000, the runner up will receive INR 6,000 and the second runner up will get INR 3,000.
