Doha: Tulukoota (Qatar), a frontline community affiliated to the ICC, will be organising a food festival called ‘Tulu Jatre’ at the Old Ideal Indian School Grounds, Doha on Friday, October 25 from 5:30 pm onwards.
Speaking to NewsKarnataka, Tulukoota (Qatar) President Chaitali Uday Shetty said that the food festival will be an extravagant event and will feature food stalls providing mouthwatering, typical dishes from Tulu Nadu. The event also aims to be a family get-together amongst natives of Tulu Nadu and Karnataka as well.
Shetty also said that the fest will witness several competitions such as mad ads, mimicry, mono acting, and a raffle draw where participants will get a chance to win gold coupons. “The fun games are bound to keep all generations of attendees (young and old) entertained and aims to give them a sense of ‘namma oorda jatre’,” she added.
Entry to the Tulu Jatre event is open to all.
