Tulu Koota Kuwait enthralled folks at ‘Rasamanjari 2014’

Kuwait, May 22: Tulu Koota Kuwait rocked the stage at the event ‘Rasamanjari 2014’ with their power packed performances on May 16, 2014 at the American International School, Kuwait. The audience was awestruck by the powerhouse spectacle presented by the guest artists from Mangalore.

The event began with a welcome dance by Upasana Dance Studio, the traditional lighting of lamp by the managing  advisory committee members. The President, Mr. Tharendra Shettigar addressing the crowd, welcomed everyone  thanked the sponsors of the show, whose generous contribution was the foothold of such a magnanimous event.

Manoj Shetty introduced Sahil (Zaheer Ahmed), the host for the evening, further to which Sahil’s Shayaris, captured the audience attention.

The guest singers, the rustic talent folk song queen Kalavathi Dayan, the celebrity singer of SA RE GA MA fame, Nakul Abhyankar  renowned star singer Anita D’Souza, kick-started the show by rendering the beautiful fusion of ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’.

Kalavathi Dayan, who was rightfully addressed as Kalavathi ‘Dynamic’ captivated the audience with high voltage songs like “Koli Kooguva Hottu”, “Lele Lele Ku”  “Naanu Kolike Ranga”.

Nakul Abyankar rocked the stage with powerful songs like “Mithuva…”, “Kaanadanthe Mayavadanu”, “Tune maari entryaan”  “Saari ke fall”. The versatile singer Anita D’Souza, grooved the audience with songs like “Vol Ie Re”, Byari song, “Tere mere bichme”. All the three also performed brilliant duets, while “Damadam Mast Kalar” remained the highlight of the evening.

Local talented singers, Santosh Kunder, Laveena Praphulla  Orson D’Souza also presented foot-tapping numbers  enthralled the crowd with power packed performances.

Live music support was rendered by Adrian Gomes  his fabulous team. The children of different dance schools performed to various new  old numbers, while the comedy skits from the TKK members kept the audience in splits.

The programme was well co-ordinated under the leadership of the cultural secretary, Mr Suresh Salian.

Furthermore, the felicitation programme was hosted by Ashvita Shetty. The sponsors  the guest artists were felicitated by the guest of honor, his excellency, deputy commissioner-Indian Embassy, Shubashish Guldar, the managing  advisory committee members. 

The main sponsors for the event were Malabar Gold Diamonds MCB Assetz, while the Gold Sponsors were Burhan Tec, Lulu Exchange, Oriental Restaurant  Avanti Palace Restaurant,  the Silver Sponsors were Ashraf andCo, Karthik Residencies, Faisal Al-Qatami Steel, Al-Arfaj Engineering  Baby Abrielle Kyra Furtado.

The multimedia projection  slide show has been beautifully done by Mr.Ramesh S Bhary  Team. The back stage announcements were made by Rinita Lionel Shubha Shanubogue, sound and lightings support by Illuminations, while Prashanth Shetty Agari was the chief photographer of the event.

The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the General Secretary, Satish Acharya the National Anthem.

From Awesome stage setting to fabulous music exhilarating performance by artists, this show left the audience mesmerized an evening to be remembered forever.
