Bengaluru: The Muslim community, on Tuesday, January 21, staged a massive protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC) in front of Russell Market.
Many people shut their shops to participate in the protests, making parts of the city wear a deserted look. It also looked like there was a bundh in the city.
Protesters were observed waving the tricolor and holding placards with slogans such as “BJP Hatao Desh Bachao”, “No CAA No NRC” etc.
