Raichur: Pratapgouda Patil from BJP has been tested positive for Covid 19. He is the candidate for the Maski assembly constituency by-election slated to be held on April 17.
Patil defected from the Congress to the BJP. He was disqualified under the anti-defection law in July 2019, which has now caused the by-election.
In his social media message, Patil said that he has been in isolation after testing positive for Covid-19 on the advice of the doctor. He asked the people not to panic and vote for him on April 17.
