Bengaluru: A FIR has been registered at the Basavanagudi Police Station against actor Chethan for his recent statements on Brahmins and Brahminism.
Pavan Kumar Sharma, president of Vipra Yuva Vedike has lodged a complaint against the actor. According to the police cases have been registered under section 129 (A) and 153 (B) of IPC.
The above said sections are related to hurting the religious sentiments of the people and creating enmity between the people.
