Bengaluru: One of the most popular serials in Kannada, ‘Magalu Janaki’ serial will see an abrupt end soon.
Serial director TN Seetharam has made an announcement of winding up the serial.
In a lengthy facebook post, he stated that the serial will have to inevitably ended as the channel (Colours Super) on which the serial is being aired is shutting down from June 15.
“The channel will telecast episodes that are ready for a period of two weeks. I am heartbroken by this news,” he stated in his FB post.
It is the third Kannada channel to shut down due to economic crisis.
Earlier, two channels have already shut down owing to financial crisis.
