Rashmika Mandanna did not have any Kannada release in 2018. However in 2019, she will be having two big releases. Yajamana starring Darshan and Rashmika will release in January 2019. Meanwhile, Pogaru, in which she is paired opposite Dhruva Sarja is also being shot.
Rashmika will be playing the role of a professor in the film, which will be directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by BK Gangadhar. The school portions were shot with Sarja in the first schedule. The actor took some time-off for his engagement and will resume the next schedule sometime this month.
Arjun Sarja has written the story of the film. The film is expected to be out in June 2019.
