The film was initially titled ‘Kasturi Nivasa’ but the movie was renamed as ‘Kasturi Mahal’ in the honor of Dr Raj Kumar as his family and fans wanted his evergreen movie with the same title not to be used again.
Rachitaram was the first to be chosen as the heroine of the film. Rachitaram walked out of the film due to some prior commitments and now Shanvi Srivastav has been chosen as the replacement heroine of Kasturi Mahal.
The film is directed by Dinesh Babu, and the movie is a horror thriller. He has written the story, screenplay and dialogue for the film. This is his directorial 50th film.
From October 5th, the Kasturi Mahal will be shot at Kottigehara.
Sribhawani Arts and Rubin Raj Productions owned by and Raveesh RC and Rubin Raj are producing the movie and PKH Das will do the camera work and Soundar Raj will do the editing for the film.
Shanvi Srivastav, Skandha Ashok, Rangayana Raghu, Narayana Swamy, Shruti Prakash, Kashima are known to be in the lead role in the movie.
