Mangaluru: Sonal Monteiro will be soon seen on the sets of the new film, Shambho Shiva Shankara. The actress was cast for this role after being selected for Tharun Kishore Sudhir’s upcoming film Roberrt.
This film is a debut for the popular TV-serial director Shankar Konamaanahalli; who has written the story, screenplay and dialogues, The film revolves around the concept of friendship and is expected to be a suspense-thriller.
“So far, I have only acted with one hero films. This film has three heroes. This is an opportunity for me to nurture a different character as well. So, I accepted the role without a second thought”, said Sonal.
The lead actress will be seen alongside some new faces in Sandalwood—Abhay Puneeth, Rakshak and Rohit and will play the role of three heroes attempting to woe the girl.
With the shooting for ‘Banaras’ and ‘Budhivanta 2’ completed, Sonal will join the film crew of Shambho Shiv Shankar from October 5th onwards.
