Beijing: Xiaomi has officially announced that it will launch the new 2022 Redmi Smart TV X on October 20 in China.
The Xiaomi TV account announced the plan but it didn’t reveal any details of the upcoming TV, reports GizmoChina.
Nonetheless, The new Redmi Smart TV X will feature a refreshing strength.
Redmi released the Smart TV series in May 2020.
The 2020 model came in three sizes – 50 inches, 55 inches, and 65 inches. There is a chance the Redmi Smart TV will also be available in multiple sizes.
The existing TV adopts a metal frame and a minimalist full-screen design. The screen-to-body ratio is as high as 97 per cent and there was a 55-inch variant only.
However, the affordable smart TV market is becoming increasingly more saturated and Redmi’s latest offerings are now official in India. The Redmi Smart TV X50, X55 and X65 are made locally and have identical specs.
All three models feature 4K resolution LED panels with HDR10+, Dolby Vision and support for 92% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. The refresh rate is 60Hz and Xiaomi is offering its Vivid Picture profiling and Reality Flow MEMC image smoothing. On the audio side all three models sport two 15W speakers tuned with DTS Virtual X and Dolby Audio as well as Dolby Atmos if you connect a supported soundbar.
The Redmi Smart TV has 2GB+32GB storage and supports Dolby sound. The whole system comes standard with MEMC motion compensation technology + 60Hz intelligent algorithm compensation.
The TV offers four video platforms and supports 2000+ device linkages.
