New Delhi: Online hotel-booking engine and air aggregator Goibibo on Wednesday introduced a new ‘live flight tracking’ feature in its app and website for 1,824 daily flight schedules across domestic and international flights.
The new feature enables friends/families of the passenger to track their journey as well as get notified about arrival information or change in schedules.
“Flight tracking and status information is first of its kind. This is in line with our focus of constantly delivering unique consumer experiences and at the same enhancing our travel social network, goContacts,” said Ashish Kashyap, Founder and CEO, Ibibo Group, in a statement.
Passengers can also get real time data on air craft type, gate number, baggage carousel information, along with notifications on delays with estimated time of departure and arrival, change in terminal and gate information.
