New Delhi: Homegrown smartphone operating system Indus OS on Thursday announced a partnership with Bobble, an Android and iOS application, to allow users to communicate using stickers in regional languages for the first time.
“The partnership that enables instantaneous personalisation of content offering regional language stickers will surely be a huge hit in the Indian market,” said Rakesh Deshmukh, Co-founder and CEO, Indus OS, in a statement.

Users can click a selfie on an Indus OS-powered device and they will get unlimited personalised stickers showing their faces in 12 regional languages for free.

Bobble’s technology will adjust the expression on every face to match the emotion of the sticker or GIF in real time which can be shared by users on WhatsApp, Facebook and other platforms.

“We are in agreement with Indus OS’ focus on regional languages to harness the growth in smartphone usage, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities,” added Mohd Wassem, Co-founder, Bobble.
