Shivamogga: Students of Kuvempu University staged a protest in front of Vice-Chancellor’s the chamber of the University and appealed to the Registrar to conduct the exams for a fee of Rs 200.

By 2020, both professional and non-professional students have paid the full amount for the semester.

Because of Corona, the exams were not conducted, remaining funds could be applied to the following semester of 2021, with a mandatory scoring fee of just 200, rather than the semester fee.

However, the university is demanding 2000 for next semester’s exam fees. Students staged a protest against it. They believed that corona had exacerbated their parents’ financial situation. They will be unable to pay the fees of Rs 2000. They requested that students who had already paid in full obtain a refund.

Students have requested that they should be admitted to the semester examination by paying only 200 rupees of the examination fee.
