Addressing a meeting organised to review the SSLC and PUC exam preparations in the district, Eshwarappa said, “Over 18,000 PU students will be writing their exams across 33 exam centres. To ensure that all students appear for the exams, 130 nodal officers have been deployed. All arrangements should be made to facilitate them to write the exams,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Minister directed that exam centres should be ready with thermal scanning equipment, masks and sanitizers. All guidelines issued to prevent the spread of Covid-19 should be followed,” he said.

He also directed the district administration to keep the buses ready to ferry the students. “Students should be informed in advance about the pick-up points so that they need not wait and the nodal officers should collect the contact information of all the students,” he said.

Eshwarappa also asked the officials to set up two helpline numbers in all taluk centres so resolve any SSLC exam-related issues.
