Bengaluru: Ajai Rao had huge expectations from his last film ‘Thayige Takka Maga’. Unfortunately, the film tanked at the box office and now, he will be back in Krishna series.
We all know that Ajai has some special connection with the name Krishna. He has been credited with the same name in films too and following the tradition, his upcoming film is likely to be titled as Krishnan Kirik Story. Guru Deshpande’s protege Rajavardhan Shankar, who had assisted him in the films like Raja Huli, Rudhra Thandava and Samhara is now independently directing the film, which is bankrolled by Guru Deshpande himself under the banner G Cinemas.
The new film is likely to have a Muhurath on Ajay Rao’s birthday, which is on January 24. The project will go on floor from February. The film is touted to be a family drama with the suspense thriller elements.
