Darshan was known for acting in at least three films in a year. However, for the last several years, he has been acting in an average of one film a year, a fact that has disappointed his fans. To make up for this, Darshan has started acting in more films and now, he is waiting for the release of his 50th film, “Muniratna Kurukshetra”.
In the meanwhile, Darshan has also wrapped up the talkie portion of his 51st film “Yajamana”.
Darshan is now ready and will start shooting for his 52nd film “Odeya”, which is a remake of the Tamil film “Veeram”. The film will be directed by MD Sridhar under Sandesh Productions. The makers have finalised the cast for the film, except for the heroine.
Yashas, Pankaj Narayan, Niranjan and Samarth will play Darshan’s younger brothers in the film, while Ravi Shankar will play the villain’s role. Meanwhile, Sadhu Kokila and Chikkanna have been finalised for the comedy roles.
